Something to think about

Remember, in 2013, Ahmad Zahid revealed to the Indonesian media that he is of Javanese descent; both of his paternal grandparents were natives of Kulon Progo Regency, Yogyakarta, while his maternal grandfather came from Ponorogo in East Java and married his Malaysian Malay grandmother. Aha, so he is not of Malaysian origin after all. Gotcha!

This is what Zahid said and this is what our orang asli friends would have said.

MAS report losses again for FY2013

When I came across the news articles in The Malay Mail Online that our national airline has incurred a pre-tax loss of RM1.15b, I am just wondering what direction will the airline be heading this year.  For the 2012FY, the airline incurred a loss of RM424.8m.  Read the report here, http://www.themalaymailonline.com/money/article/mas-shares-lose-further-ground-as-bad-news-sinks-in

The government will not close the airline, that is for sure.  If they are not going to do so, then it is a case of good money chasing after bad. Unless the internal factors are controlled, the airline will continue to suffer losses. The governmentt must agree to put race aside and get the best man for the job, and my vote goes to re-securing the services of Tan Sri Saw Huat Lye, who was the first GM of MAS in the 70s who brought the new airline then to new heights, thus giving many regional airlines including Singapore Airline. a run for their money.

Come on UMNO Baru, our national pride is at stake.

If only they learn how to put their brains into gear before moving their mouths

Not to be overlooked is the pair of glasses which he is wearing, was invented by a CHRISTIAN monk, Friar Roger Bacon, in the 13th century.

Three bags of blood

There are three bags of blood hanging in the hospital blood bank, SIDE BY SIDE. Can you tell which one belongs to the Chinese, Malay, Indian, Eurasian, Kadazan, Bidayuh, Iban, Melanau or Murut?

If our politicians can grasp this simple concept, life in Malaysia would be so much pleasant and peaceful.

A beautiful Sunday morning at the Church of the Holy Family, Kajang

Sit Kassim (second from right) says : We went round KL to find flowers to bring to the church in Kajang.  We look for them in Petaling Street, Jalan Alor and Changkat without success, but eventually found a little corner in Brickfields what we need.  Thanks Madeline, Datuk Faridah and Yati for hitting the road in the middle of the night to do this.

This is the second of such visits by our Muslim brethren to help foster goodwill among Christians and Muslims. The first of these visits was held on January 5 2014, spearheaded by Marina Mahathir at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Klang.

What!? Now they levying a Chinese New Year service charge?

I believe this tax matter is getting way out of
hand ... and 10% on top of that!

From this receipt alone, the outlet had collected RM30.72.  I can imagine the total sum collected from all its customers when it closed at the end of the day.
