PAS has made it compulsory for all of its members to participate in an anti-Internal Security Act (ISA) rally in Kuala Lumpur tomorrow, said its vice-president Salahuddin Ayub.
He added that the party's spiritual leader Nik Aziz Nik Mat and president Abdul Hadi Awang have given a nod for the rally, adding that the duo had decreed that the rally was notharam (forbidden in Islam).Salahuddin urged all party members - reportedly numbering at 1 million - not to be affected by threats to clampdown on the rally.
It is expected that some 50,000 PAS members will be taking part in the gathering tomorrow.
