This afternoon, I blogged at 1.28 pm that a Malay Muslim would take over the helm of MAS and at 1.52 pm, Malaysiakini announced the appointment of Tengku Azmil Zahruddin who will replace Idris Jala. Okay, maybe it is not a surprise since it is a GLC, but still I was banking on the hope that another Idris Jala or Saw Huat Lye would be appointed instead.
Congratulations to Tengku Azmil and looking forward to you keeping up the good work of Idris and steering the national airline to greater heights.
