The scene at KKB on nomination day was like a war zone, chingay, pasar malam, mardi grasse and Hyde Park all rolled into one. As early as 5 am supporters were heading towards the town centre.
Consisting of just a few roads, the town centre had, the night before, been sealed off from the nomination centre which is down the valley. And Pakatan Rakyat supporters found themselves trapped and sealed off. Many made it down the valley towards the nomination centre but found themselves in an area allocated for Barisan Nasional supporters.
This, however did not stop the few thousand PR supporters from showing their support by having their march and ceramahs/ They also made attempts to crash through the police barricade to get to the area allocated for PR supporters.
Bravo, Like a Person who speaks without a forked tongue, keep up the good work. Yagu
ReplyDeleteA full-fledged democracy requires fulfillment of three essential conditions: extensive political competition, a high level of political participation as

rule in a participatory political system has therefore often been labeled as "semi-democratic" or "quasi democratic. It's time for change. Next week is a beginning! Greetings, Yagu
