I woke up this morning and to my great relief after reading from the online news, hey what do you know, the government is still intact. They have not been toppled, and neither was there any mayhem leading to riots and deaths at MU last night. From what I gathered, it could have been another pop concert, and after it was all over, the fans went home elated and throats sored from all that screaming.
The only thing I found childish is the switching off the lights by the authorities. If a man is fighting for his life, just provide him the dignity to say his piece without resorting to any unnecessary moves to embarrass him. Where is our sense of maturity, and that, coming from an institute of higher learning too.
There are many who agree as well as those who disagree with DSAI's move to speak at the campus, but whatever our opinion is of him, let the man have his 'last meal' until the court says otherwise.
Geronimo, that is what will happen when morons are put in charge of fools.Although MU was once upon a time the pride of Malaysians and the envy of our neighbors,it is still considered the top University in Malaysia.
ReplyDeleteJust imagine the people in charge of the country's top university has put and made the country and it's leaders the world's laughing stock. When countries like Myanmar and Kampuchea are marching forward, our leaders and educaters are taking the country and it's people backwards. And dogs.widely accepted in this small planet we live in as man's best friend has been hounded down by these brainless two legged bigots.
Bruno, I can't help but think that UMNO Baru is now even afraid of its own shadows. They are afraid of every thing that lurks in dark corners and slowly but surely, paranoia is going to overtake them.
