WHAT THOSE UMNO BARU FELLAS SHOULD BE DOING AT THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY INSTEAD OF FINDING FAULTS WITH THE CHINESE.

So, the UMNO Baru General Assembly has ended.  Everyone is now asking, what have the members achieved during that four days.

IMHO, what UMNO Baru should have done was to set up an agenda to look into improving the lots of the Malays instead of turning it into a Chinese bashing session (which came as no surprise to everybody, anyway).  The agenda could have been ....

1. Progress report on what has been done or not done, for the Malay community since the last GA.
2. Paper presentation on how to further improve the lot of the Malays without taking it out on the other communities, especially the Chinese.
3. Form panel workshops to discuss such items.
4. Present the findings and recommendations
after having deliberated on the topics over a 2-day work shop sessions.
5. Pass resolutions in adopting some of the ideas mooted.
6. If it involves parliamentary consent, someone to table it in the Dewan for approval.
7. Form a monitoring committee to ensure the successful implementation of the plans resolved.
8. Award those divisions that come out with the best idea that will help to improve the lot of the Malays.

As far as I can see todate, nothing concrete is being discussed, instead unproductive time was used in bashing the Chinese from the word 'Go' which to many, has gradually become a bore. No wonder MCA, Gerakan and SUPP are keeping silent over the many issues raised that I thought would have concerned them deeply. Apparently, not.

And yet, in the same breath, UMNO Baru are complaining about how the Malays are falling behind the others when they themselves were not doing anything positive for their community at a gathering such as this.

Why the need for all that gory stuff?

So, the message for the last four days from UMNO Baru to the non-Malays was clear, "Watch out. If you continue to reject us, we will do what is necessary." Gosh, that has put us in a fix, a HOBSON'S CHOICE you might say. Vote them in, we get crap from them. Don't vote them in, we also get crap, unless the non-Malays (including our brethren from Sabah and Sarawak) unite together to vote them out once and for all.

By screening clips on May 13 and the beheadings by ISIS, it just goes to show how violent and blood thirsty these people can be, and the implications are quite clear. If they are not, then was it necessary to screen these gory stuff. Take heed Malaysians.

You called this a party of consensus?

So Najib has now made it known that the ISA would not be scrapped, with ....

1. Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA) ....NOT CONSULTED
2. Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC) .... NOT CONSULTED
3. Parti Pesaka Bumiputra Bersatu (PBB) .... NOT CONSULTED

4. Sarawak United Peoples Party (SUPP) .....NOT CONSULTED
5. Parti Gerakan Rakyat Malaysia ..... NOT CONSULTED
6. Peoples Progressive Party (PPP) ..... NOT CONSULTED.
7. Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) ..... NOT CONSULTED
8. Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah (PBRS) ..... NOT CONSULTED
9. United Pasokmomogun Kadazandusun Murut Organisation (UPKO) .... NOT CONSULTED
10. Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) .... NOT CONSULTED
11. Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP) ... NOT CONSULTED.
12. Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) ... NOT CONSULTED.

And still, these twelve parties think they are getting a good deal when UMNO Baru is riding roughshod over them. Don't they even feel a bit insulted when UMNO Baru made arbitrary decisions such as this without getting them involved? So, this is what they called a party of consensus?
