Don't trust HINDRAF on Kg Buah Pala

Every time when I read the news about the Kg Buah Pala (High Chapperal) issue, I just can't help but to think the type of opportunists the HINDRAF leaders really are. For me, they are no better than UMNO, MCA and MIC, nothing but a bunch of racists to say the least. Especially that leader who is now hiding out in a foreign country, a coward he is by not coming back to face Lim Guan Eng face-to-face but making nothing but threats and more threats and demands thousands of miles away. What's more, he even left five of his friends to be roasted in jail under the ISA.

I can't agree more, when I read this posting by Rocky Bru -

Kg Buah Pala residents were screwed by BN and Gerakan and the BN folks are very quiet now. Yes, Penang Pakatan government needs to do what they can to help within the boundary of the law cause they are the government of the day.

They can acquire the land but it comes with a price. There are many options to be looked at, swapping land, partial compensation plus a smaller piece of land etc. The Pakatan government needs to check for any wrongdoings during the land transfer. If illegal, they can use this to make things right which is the best option.

The Hindraf leader who uses his kid to send memos can't be trusted. He and his brother are moving towards a political party and the only way they can make themselves popular is by playing the race card. They are no different than BN parties and they seem to whack the Pakatan government just to be in the limelight.

As for Guan Eng, please check the facts before you speak. Do not say leasehold then residents show proof it is not. Get your facts right. Go and meet the residents as it is ok to see them and show empathy

This is is a big issue Guan Eng. The handling of this issue by Guan Eng and his people has been bad.

Pakatan needs to find a solution fast. The developer must remember that the government can make life difficult during the construction if the government wants to. So a win win solution needs to be found. Then go after the BN folks who made the approval.
