Khalid Samad and Anwar Ibrahim are casualties and are now in hospital
Khalid Samad, the PAS MP for Shah Alam, has been shot in the back with a tear gas cannister. He is reported to be in critical condition and is now warded in a nearby hospital.
Anwar Ibrahim has been hit in the face with a gas canister. Ambulance took him and two others on stretchers from the KL Hilton to the Pantai Hospital accompanied by the MMA [Malaysian Medical Association] president.
